As one of the actions of the City Council of Santander for the benefit of Santander citizens, we offer you the new Santander City app, a mobile application for you to access municipal services in a convenient and simple way. 

The Santander City App will unify many of the city's applications that you had so far, allowing you to access municipal services, as well as encompassing other new advantages that the Santander SmartCitizen initiative will provide. All your interests in a single mobile application

The Santander City App has been developed to adapt as much as possible to your needs and interests, offering you a wide variety of functionalities: 

-The young people will be able to consult information about different services focused on them: job orientation, youth associations, health and sexuality orientation, events and leisure activities for young people, and information about grants for young entrepreneurs, among others. You can also request an appointment to renew cards, such as the youth card, youth hostel card, etc., as well as perform simple procedures such as requesting loans of materials, books in the library, rooms, etc. 

-For the elderly, in Santander City you can access numerous services, such as tele-assistance, home support, request food at home in case of inability to travel, and even process podiatry services. You can also consult information about leisure adapted to the elderly, grants and subsidies, and information on volunteering, among others. 

-For transportation and mobility, the App also offers numerous advantages: information on bicycle rental points, cab ranks and availability of cabs, urban transport, bus stops, traffic information, plan your route, etc. 

-If you are a tourist, organizing your daily life or planning around Santander will be much easier with the APP Santander City: check information about tourist services, addresses of restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs in the city, plan your excursions, find information about trails and urban paths, points of interest, itineraries, accommodations, and even find suggestions for different experiences that the city offers, such as plans for the little ones. In addition, the App is available in both Spanish and English, so that language is not an inconvenience when spending a great day in Santander. 

-With respect to leisure and sports, you will be able to know the cultural and events agenda of the city and buy your tickets, and book the municipal sports facilities, among other features. 

-You can carry your Citizen Card with you physically or virtually through this application. In addition, through the App, you can recharge your card in case you use it in its prepaid mode. You will also be able to consult information about your records, your payments, your electronic notifications, etc. 

-Santander City will allow you to connect even more with your city, as it unifies all the information and services in one place, from where you can know the agenda of the city, see maps and compare them with old photos of Santander, save your favorite places, share on social networks and use filters, make custom searches, etc.  

You can also communicate with your City Hall and the Citizen Service, where you can report incidents and get involved in participation channels with consultations and surveys, participatory processes and debates, among others. In addition, you will have available data on the occupation of public buildings in Santander, such as the Palacio de la Magdalena, a list of telephone numbers of interest, information on employment, as well as the latest news and developments in your city.  

The best of all this is that you can customize your Santander City App with your preferences to show you and suggest content that match your interests, simply by having activated the bluetooth, and you can even benefit from promotions and discounts.
